In this hands-on art class, children will explore nature and creativity inspired by artist Alice Fox. Children will collect and use a variety of leaves as their art materials, then experiment with simple stitching using yarn and safe tools. Through playful exploration, they’ll make colorful stitch patterns, build fine motor skills, and discover the beauty of combining art and nature.

Children will learn:

· Fine Motor Skills – Children will strengthen hand–eye coordination and finger dexterity as they thread yarn and make stitches through leaves.

· Creative Expression – They will explore colors, textures, and patterns to create their own unique stitched leaf art.

· Nature Appreciation – Children will learn to observe and appreciate the beauty and variety of leaves found in nature.

IMPORTANT: This session is at the GE Club Studio on the second level at 1020 Swinney Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
