Children will discover the beauty of symmetry and pattern as they create mandalas using natural materials like stones, shells, and small sticks. Pressing these treasures into a soft clay base, young artists will explore balance, texture, and the peaceful rhythm of arranging nature’s shapes into beautiful circular designs.
Children will learn:
1. To recognize and create patterns and symmetry through natural materials.
2. To explore texture and composition using clay and found objects.
3. To connect artmaking with mindfulness and appreciation for nature.
