Rainbow Wonders: Color Play! July 25, 2026. 10:00-10:30 AM
In this vibrant sensory art class, children will explore the magic of rainbow colors through hands-on, open-ended activities. Children will scratch away dark surfaces to reveal bright hues underneath, and paint with colorful textures. They’ll also discover the joy of swirling gel mixed with pigment between clear acetate sheets to make dazzling rainbow designs. This class encourages curiosity, creativity, and joyful exploration while celebrating the beauty of color in all its forms.
What children will learn:
Color Exploration and Recognition:
Children will explore and identify a variety of colors in the rainbow, noticing how colors mix, blend, and change through hands-on art experiences.
Sensory Engagement and Curiosity:
Children will engage multiple senses—sight, touch, and movement—while experimenting with colorful materials and textures, fostering curiosity and discovery.
Creative Expression and Process Art:
Children will use open-ended art materials and techniques (such as scratch art, textured painting, and gel color mixing) to express their creativity and develop fine motor coordination.
