Shades of Green: A Sensory Art Journey. June 27, 2026. 10:00-10:30 AM
Get ready for a green-themed adventure!
We’ll dive into a colorful story that celebrates the many shades of green, then take a sensory journey through nature as we smell and explore real green treasures—leaves, herbs, and more! After that, we'll become color scientists, discovering how to create green by mixing other colors. Finally, we'll unleash our creativity using different art materials to paint, print, and craft with the beautiful greens of nature.
What Children Will Learn:
· Fine motor, hand-eye coordination, and visual discrimination skills will be
developed while mixing paints and then painting.
· Language Skills – Talking about discoveries in mixing colors as well as describing
what the variety of things that are green smell like.
The price is per child, with an accompanying adult. There is no cost for the adult.
