Get ready to see red—in the most creative way!
We’ll begin with a lively story that celebrates the bold and beautiful world of red. Then we’ll go on a sensory adventure, smelling and exploring a variety of red wonders from nature—like berries, petals, and spices. After that, it’s time to unleash our inner artists as we dive into red-themed art, experimenting with different materials to create vibrant red paintings and playful bubble prints bursting with color!
What children will learn:
Color Recognition and Emotional Understanding:
Children will identify the color red in their environment and explore how it can represent energy, warmth, and excitement.
Sensory Exploration and Inquiry:
Children will use their senses to investigate red items from nature—such as berries, petals, and spices—and describe their observations using descriptive language.
Creative Expression and Process Art:
Children will experiment with red-themed art materials and techniques, including painting and bubble printing, to express creativity and strengthen fine motor and problem-solving skills.
