Color Flow & Line Play. November 22, 2025. 10:30-11:15 AM.
Through playful experimentation, children will explore vibrant ink on wet paper, then transform their colorful washes into dynamic works of art by drawing shapes and lines on top once the paint dries.
What children will learn:
1. Color Exploration & Blending Techniques
Children will learn about how colors mix and interact on wet paper, developing an understanding of color theory and blending techniques as they experiment with vibrant inks.
2. Shape and Line Recognition
By drawing on top of their painted surfaces, children will practice recognizing and creating different shapes and lines, helping them build foundational skills in visual design and composition.
3. Patience & Process
As they wait for their ink paintings to dry, children will practice patience while learning that art is a process—building their ability to work step-by-step and appreciate the journey of creation.
