With cardboard, wood scraps, and found natural treasures, children will explore the art of assemblage—re-imagining recycled bits into beautiful, tactile works of art.

What children will learn:

1. Creative Problem Solving & Design Thinking

As children choose and arrange different shapes, textures, and materials, they learn how to make artistic decisions, experiment with balance, and solve design challenges in a hands-on, playful way.

2. Environmental Awareness & Resourcefulness

By working with natural and found objects, kids begin to see beauty and possibility in everyday materials—gaining an appreciation for nature and the value of reusing and repurposing.

3. Spatial Awareness & Fine Motor Skills

Building 3D artwork helps children develop a sense of space, form, and structure, while gluing, stacking, and placing objects strengthens their hand-eye coordination and precision.

IMPORTANT: This session is at the GE Club Studio on the second level at 1020 Swinney Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46802
